Doreen and her husband Ron live in the country near a small town in northern Michigan. They have three grown children, Dan, Heather, and son in-law Steve. They are grandparents to a precious little boy named Lake.

Although she had no aspirations of writing a children's Christmas book, the idea was inspired by her need to exercise before adding extra pounds during the holidays. So with high hopes and lofty expectations, she joined a gym, and started her workout routine on a treadmill. To her delight it began to make a difference.

Somewhere the thought of chubby reindeer on treadmills popped into her head, and as they say, the rest is history.

So, her hope is that you will enjoy this children's Christmas book with your children, grandchildren, and students.
